Hullo! And concealer.

I was standing in the shower this morning wondering why I hadn't seen any posts from this community (no joke), and it turns out I forgot to friend it. Whoops.

I'm Alissa, 22, "single" (not married, but have a serious Man in my life), a business analyst (read: tech person) at an investment bank, and I live in New York City.

I have recently become enamored of Clean & Clear cream cleanser. Where have you been all my life? ::hearts:: All tingly and nice.

Can anyone recommend a good concealer? I'm running to the end of mine and might be interested in switching. Right now I use Benefit Lyin' Eyes, which works fairly well. I have bad circles around/under my eyes, though. I have very fair skin.

Also, my poor eyes are often red-rimmed (I really do get enough sleep!). Any thoughts or suggestions for that?

I also have very fair skin and dark circles under my eyes. Max Factor's basic concealer stick (in the lightest shade) makes mine virtually disappear!

I used to swear by Mary Kay's concealer - and still do, for the most part. Right now I use a concealer sold by Victoria Secret... it comes in a VERY little container, but it's very concentrated, so a little goes a long way... It seriously does the trick and I have a feeling it'll last a loooong time.

(Looks like the price went up - I paid $35, I think.... Maybe eBay has it?!) :)

If I ever use up all of the above, I will go back to Mary Kay. My sister also swears by it. And not just 'cause our Mom is a Mary Kay lady! ♥

I adore Clinique's concealor. I get it in City Fair. It's kinda pricy ($20?) but man it's worth it!! And lasts a long time. :) It lasts both a long time on my face (doesn't rub off, or disappear into oblivion) and it lasts a long time 'cause you don't need much at all. Good stuff.

yves saint laurent touche eclat is really good for under eyes because it's thin and doesn't crease, but if you want a thicker one, MAC studio finish concealer is really thick and has brilliant coverage - it can even cover tattoos and birthmarks. it lasts for ages too, and you can use it with water if you want. as for your eyes, have you tried just using a white kohl pencil inside the rims of your eyes? it's really good for making your eyes stand out and look more awake too!

Also to hide it when you can't get rid of it - Benefit's in the pinkpencil does a great job without looking like you've got makeup around the rims of your eys.
